Squeez Bacon!

Tauntaun sleeping bag
My favorite April Fool’s jokes:

1. ThinkGeek has some brand-new products you might enjoy, including an adorable Tauntaun sleeping bag for the cold little Jedi in your life, a Unicorn Chaser to cleanse your brain next time you’re sorry you looked at that horrible link your sister-in-law sent you, and of course make your breadmeat shine with deliciousness with Squeez Bacon!

2. Get excited for the hottest new reality show, Project Publishing!

3. Let Gmail Autopilot read and respond to all of your mail for you, as it learns your personal style! (Yeah, I know everyone has seen this already, but it’s funny, ok?)

4. Google’s brand-new CADIE technology can also be used to create a blog using optimal design principles [warning: annoying MIDI file].

If they make it real, I know what all of my little cousins are getting for holiday gifts. Holly is so going to hate me. MWAHAHAHAHAHA!

(also, I feel like it should be a required gift for all once and future Pi babies)

  2. Sam says:

OMG dude — look at the Tauntaun page again: “Due to an overwhelming tsunami of requests from YOU THE PEOPLE, we have decided to TRY and bring this to life. We have no clue if the suits at Lucasfilms will grant little ThinkGeek a license, nor do we know how much it would ultimately retail for. But if you are interested in ever owning one of these, click the link below and we’ll try!”

Truly, the world is a remarkable place.

I know, right? I want every child in my life to own one of these. (The worst of it is that I think it *is* real — it looks like someone made a prototype for the photograph. But I am not skilled enough to make one of my own, so it will never be mine! Noooo!)

I have not felt consumer lust like this in years. The Tauntaun sleeping bag must become real or I will die with a hole in my heart. A tauntaun hole.
