This is a test of MacJournal, a new app I?m trying out. I can journal on my computer, including attaching videos and pictures and whatnot. And apparently I can post it to Parenthetical, too. Let?s find out, shall we? (Thanks, MP!)

In case I see something different from what you see:

    (1) The html for italics didn’t work; I just see little i’s inside of angle brackets.

    (2) The apostrophes all appear to me as question marks.

PS: I just have to check whether it still replaces double-hyphens with em-dashes. This is particularly important for your web site because — despite linguistic indications to the contrary — em-dashes can be used to set off parenthetical comments!

    I, too, only saw HTML.

Oh, and I tagged you for a meme on my blog. :)

Ditto Michael. On both the italics and the apostrophes. (And, both M and I (I think) are on macs. I’m on Safari right now, but it happens in Firefox too.)
