You’ve probably all seen this already, but we’re in The Onion! It’s not an especially genius article, but still.

And E sent me this: Why Mommy Is a Democrat, “a different kind of children’s book.” I’m sure it’s terrible from a quality-literature perspective, and I’m not generally a fan of such obvious indoctrination. But how can you not want to cuddle good little liberal squirrels? (Note they didn’t use donkeys. Not cute enough? Whatever. Sylvester is adorable!) “Democrats make sure we all share our toys, just like Mommy does.”

I think it’s time for a public re-reading of “Gloria Goes to Gay Pride.” I’ll be in touch.

I find the squirrels kind of scary, actually.

Oh, sweet God. Please tell me all about this book. In exchange, I’ll tell you about the Very Sheltered Mormon Girl who did a project on “Daddy’s Roommate” for Banned Books Week.
