A world where, _of course_ everybody knows what to do with a live chicken. And do they have the concept of vegetarians? One guidebook I read, for Asia I believe, said that vegetarians do better introducing themselves as Buddhist, since that's better understood than "vegetarian". And a librarian who doesn't know alphabetical order? I was dumbfounded at first, but then realized, why not? After all, you can learn to read and write perfectly well without knowing whether "T" comes before or after "J" in the alphabet. Great updates!
